Gospel Messengers Quartet in Benton July 22

BENTON, KY - On Sunday July 22 the Gospel Messengers, consisting of father and sons, Bart, Dennis, & Daniel Southerd, along with new member Carl Sanders, will perform during morning worship at First Christian Church in Benton.
The church is located at 2515 South Main Street in Benton.
The trio of father and sons, ages 10 and 13, sing traditional southern gospel music.
Bart said, "What began as an effort to combine family harmony and voice talents with our strong desire to serve God became our purpose statement: delivering the gospel message through relationship, example, and song."
Since formally embarking as a Southern Gospel trio in 2007, the boys have opened for several nationally known Southern Gospel groups and singers including Dixie Echoes, Jessie Dixon, The Kingsmen, Legacy Five, Palmetto State Quartet, Allison Durham Speer, Booth Brothers, Ivan Parker and Southern Sound Quartet.
