Grand Jury Returns Indictment Against Filbeck
By WestKyStar Staff
BENTON, KY - A Marshall County grand jury returned one indictment Thursday against 51-year-old Jimmy Filbeck of Aurora, but also returned a "no true bill" in connection to a man's death earlier this summer.
The circuit court clerk's office says Filbeck was indicted for failure to register as a sex offender. His next court date has not been set.
A "no true bill" means the grand jury did not find sufficient evidence to warrant an indictment. Filbeck is a suspect in the July 18 strangulation death of 38-year-old Joe Baier, also of Marshall County.
