A Grand Rivers man is charged with theft, after police say he stole several fence posts from a home.

On Sunday, the Livingston County Sheriff's Department charged 43-year-old Michael Ezzell, of Grand Rivers with theft by unlawful taking under $500.00. The arrest stems from an investigation that police say revealed Ezzell gained access to a property near 873 Sugar Creek Road and began to steal metal fence posts.

The fence posts were later recovered and returned to the owner. Ezzell was taken to McCracken County Jail.
