Graves County Deputy Involved in Crash

A Graves County Sheriff's Deputy was involved in a two vehicle car crash Friday evening.

According to the Kentucky State Police, Graves County Deputy Shannon Puckett, 53, was responding along Old Dukedom Road to a report of another vehicle crash when he went over a hill and sideswiped a vehicle being driven by Devin Gilbert, 18.

Police say Gilbert's vehicle was partially on the deputy's side of the road, which is what caused the vehicles to hit one another.

State Police say there were no injuries, and the investigation is still ongoing.
