Graves County Man Injured in Friday Collision
By Joe Jackson
MAYFIELD, KY - A two-vehicle collision in Graves County Friday afternoon sent one driver to the hospital. According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 3:15 pm on U.S. 45 North in Mayfield.

Deputies said Theresa Jenkins of Hickory was northbound on U.S. 45 North in a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. She merged into the turn lane in front of the old Wonder Bread Store in order to turn into that parking lot.

Jenkins didn’t see a 1999 Dodge Neon, driven by Michael Fulcher of Mayfield, who was southbound on U.S. 45 North. Jenkins turned in front of Fulcher which caused Fulcher to strike her vehicle in the right side.

Fulcher was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center by Mayfield/Graves County EMS for treatment of his injuries. Jenkins was not hurt but was cited for having expired Kentucky registration.
