Two traffic stops in Graves County Saturday led to two drug arrests.

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, a deputy conducted a traffic stop for a seat belt violation. During the stop, 52-year-old Sonya Hobbs, of Mayfield, was found in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Hobbs was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Graves County Jail.

Later that same day, a deputy conducted another traffic stop. During the stop, the driver, 30-year-old Autumn Hunter, of Mayfield, reportedly admitted to ingesting methamphetamine prior to the stop.

A search of the vehicle and Hunter revealed meth, four different kinds of controlled medications for which she had no prescriptions, digital scales and other items of drug paraphernalia. Hunter was arrested and charged with DUI, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance, prescriptions not in the proper container, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, operating on a suspended operator's license and no insurance.

She was lodged in the Graves County Jail.
