The collision happened around 8:30 pm on State Route 58 East. According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Corey Garrow of Mayfield was traveling west on State Route 58 East, while 37-year-old Dhinalkumar Patel of Mayfield was traveling west behind Garrow. Deputies said Garrow was attempting to turn left onto Fox Road when Patel tried to pass him on the left side.
Patel's vehicle struck the driver's side of Garrow's vehicle, forcing it into a ditch. Patel lost control of his vehicle and it rolled off the roadway.
Patel was transported by Mayfield Graves County EMS to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Garrow wasn't injured in the crash.
