By Joe Jackson
FARMINGTON, KY - One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Graves County Wednesday morning. According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened around 8:15 am on KY 121 South in Farmington.

Deputies said Brian Harrison of Farmington was northbound on KY 121 South in a 2004 Hummer. At the same time Brittany Hubbard of Mayfield was southbound in a 1998 Oldsmobile. Harrison did not see Hubbard’s vehicle and made a left turn into Hubbard’s path.

The two vehicles collided and the impact caused Harrison’s vehicle to rotate approximately 180 degrees, coming to rest facing southbound. Hubbard’s engine compartment caught fire after the collision but was quickly extinguished by a passerby with a fire extinguisher.

Hubbard was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center by Mayfield-Graves County EMS for treatment of minor injuries. Harrison was not injured in the collisions.
