A teen is facing a burglary charge in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office was notified on Sunday about a residential burglary in Wingo. Deputies said sometime on Sunday morning, someone entered the home and stole a semi-automatic pistol and a semi-automatic rifle.

Neighbors in the area told deputies that they saw a white dirt bike in the area being ridden by a white male during the time of the burglary. An investigation led to the execution of a search warrant in the Pilot Oak area of Graves County Monday afternoon.

The stolen semi-automatic pistol and the dirt bike were recovered from the home. Through the investigation, deputies learned that the burglary was carried out by a 16-year-old boy. The teen was found at another location and charged with 1st degree burglary.

Deputies say the semi-automatic rifle that was stolen has not been found. The investigation is continuing.
