The Graves County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Central Road. The investigation revealed that Timothy Colley had allegedly threatened his 77-year-old mother with a handgun, unhooked her medical device and denied her of her wheel chair, leaving her in a critical situation.
Deputies say Colley was under the influence of alcohol and attempted to get rid of the handgun. Two firearms were seized due to Colley being a convicted felon.
Colley was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. He's charged with 4th degree assault, criminal abuse, wanton endangerment, menacing, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
