Graves Man Charged with Making Meth, Burglary

CUBA, KY - A Graves County man faces burglary and drug-related charges following an investigation by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a home on Monday at 1505 KY 94 East, about three miles south of Cuba, investigating a burglary. While speaking with the homeowner about the burglary that had occurred earlier in the morning in Cuba, deputies observed some of the stolen items on the floor inside the home. 

Deputies entered the home and located numerous other items that had been stolen. They also located a backpack with all the equipment and ingredients needed to manufacture methamphetamine. 

Deputies arrested 32-year-old James Robert McCormick III of Cuba and charged him with first-degree burglary, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, third-degree burglary and other drug-related charges. He was lodged in the Graves County Jail.
