A Graves County man was arrested Saturday in connection to a residential burglary earlier this month.

According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, a paint sprayer valued at approximately $500 was stolen on Aug. 13 from a home at 1594 KY 408 West in Graves County. A paint sprayer matching the description of the stolen one was pawned at the Cash Express Pawn in Paducah on Aug. 14.

Graves County deputies met with the owner of the pawn shop, retrieved the stolen paint sprayer and identified 22-year-old Jon Arant as the person who pawned the sprayer. Deputies located Arant on Saturday in Mayfield and interviewed him about the burglary.

He was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail on a charge of burglary 2nd.
