Graves Man Jailed on Meth, Gun Charges

GRAVES COUNTY - A man already on probation was arrested Thursday on new gun and drug charges.

A detective with the Graves County Sheriff's Office and officers with the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole responded to a home in the 900 block of Calus Hollow Road in the Melber community. The sheriff’s office had received information of suspicious activity at the home involving Chance Lee Richardson, who is currently on probation for drug offenses.

Police reportedly found two guns outside of the home. Police also allegedly saw Richardson try to dispose of a methamphetamine pipe behind a dog kennel in his yard. Marijuana was also allegedly found inside Richardson’s home.

Richardson was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. He's charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence.
