Two Graves County residents were arrested Wednesday on drug trafficking charges.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says 49-year-old William Harris Jr. and 26-year-old Justyna Johnson, both of Mayfield, were arrested after the completion of an illegal drug distribution investigation in Graves County.

Harris is charged with trafficking in controlled substance and trafficking in methamphetamine. Johnson is charged with complicity trafficking in controlled substance and complicity trafficking in methamphetamine.

Both were lodged in the Graves County Jail.
