Graves Neighborhood Holds Successful Food Drive

MAYFIELD, KY - Mayfield’s East College Street neighborhood recently held a very successful food drive to benefit the Mayfield-Graves County Needline & Food Pantry. Over 330 cans and packaged staple food items were collected and donated to the organization, which serves more than 300 local needy families per month.
As a community service project, food items were left on front doorsteps or dropped off at the Chamber of Commerce, according to Lou Latta who helped coordinate the project along with Lori Curtis. Items can still be dropped off at the chamber, Latta said.
