Graves Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

GRAVES COUNTY - A Graves County man is facing numerous drug charges following a traffic stop.

On Friday, deputies with the Graves County Sheriff's Office performed a traffic stop on 28-year-old Daniel Munsell for an alleged traffic violation on Macedonia Street in Mayfield.

Deputies performed a field sobriety test and searched Munsell's vehicle. The search reportedly uncovered guns, prescription pills, methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and money.

Munsell was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail.

He is charged with first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (firearm enhanced), illegal possession of legend drugs, third degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, controlled substance prescription not in a proper container first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain insurance, failure to wear seat belt, and disregarding a stop sign.
