Three people face drug and other charges following a traffic stop in Graves County Thursday. According to the Graves County sheriff’s office, deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Michael McReynolds on US 45 North at Doyle Road.

Deputies said McReynolds was driving the vehicle with no operator’s license. He was arrested on charges of improper registration plate, no registration plate, no registration receipt, no insurance, failure to wear seat belts and no operator’s license.

Two passengers in the car, 35-year-old Derek Wilson and 31-year-old Kristy Vaughan, were arrested on drug charges. Wilson and Vaughan were charged with possession of methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence.

Vaughan was additionally charged with promoting contraband. She was also served a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. All three were lodged in the Graves County Jail.

Deputies said during the traffic stop, Wilson was in possession of methamphetamine but gave it to Vaughan to hide. Wilson was found to be in possession of a crystal-like substance. At the jail, deputies found a straw with a white residue hidden in Vaughan’s boot.
