According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, deputies went to a home on Big Valley Drive and spoke to 40-year-old Tyea Newsome. While deputies were investigating the complaint, they allegedly gained pertinent information that led them to obtain a search warrant for the home.
During the search, deputies reportedly found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and legend drugs.
Newsome was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail. She's charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of illegal possession of a legend drug.
