Graves Wreck Injures 5, Closes KY 1241 for 1 Hour

Five people were treated for injuries after a two-car crash Tuesday morning in Graves County. According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at approximately 7:30 am in front of Pilgrim’s Pride on KY 1241.

Deputies said 43-year-old Marla White of Hickory was attempting to pull out of her driveway when she pulled out into the path of another car driven by 19-year-old Rachel Forest of Mayfield. The two cars collided causing White’s car to overturn and shut down KY 1241 for about an hour.

White was transported by Mayfield-Graves County EMS to Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield for treatment of her injuries. Her passengers, 47-year-old Christopher White and four-year-old Alexis White were both treated at the scene. Forest and her passenger, 57-year-old Joseph Williams, of Mayfield, suffered minor injuries.
