A three-vehicle accident Saturday night in Graves County resulted in four injuries and one arrest.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Office, the wreck happened at approximately 5:40pm at the intersection of KY 97 and Sharon Church Road. Deputies said a vehicle driven by Ima Barnes of Farmington was eastbound on KY 1890, and failed to yield the right of way to another vehicle driven by Charlene Wengerd, which was southbound on KY 97. The two vehicles collided and Barnes' vehicle spun into a third vehicle driven by John Bivins of Barlow, that was sitting at a stop sign  on KY 1890.

Barnes was taken to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Wengerd and her two passengers, Monica and Carolyn Wengerd of Paris, TN, were transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

Bivins was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle license plate and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license. He was lodged in the Graves County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.
