According to Murray police, officers responded to 1501 North 16th Street just after 10:00 pm to a report of a fight. Police said witnesses told them 45-year-old Darrell Broach pulled a gun during the confrontation. Police later found Broach in the parking lot of a nearby business and arrested him.
Broach is charged with charged with attempted murder; second degree assault; wanton endangerment; DUI second offense; driving on a suspended license; possession of an open alcoholic beverage and no registration plates. He was taken to the Calloway County Jail.
Police said no one was seriously injured.
