Health Departments Monday COVID Update

WESTERN KENTUCKY, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - Area health departments reported several new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.

The Graves County Health Department said they were aware of 90 new cases and 2 new deaths since Friday. The new cases raise the county's total to 2,906.

The Purchase District Health Department reported 118 new cases since Friday, including 84 in McCracken County, 13 in Carlisle County, 3 in Hickman County, 4 in Fulton County, and 14 in Ballard County.

The Southern Seven Health Department confirmed 139 new cases across its district since Friday. The cases include 33 in Union County, 42 in Johnson County, 6 in Pope County, 35 in Hardin County, 5 in Alexander County, 3 in Pulaski County, and 15 in Massac County.

The Pennyrile District Health Department reported 49 new cases since Friday, including 21 in Trigg County, 12 in Crittenden County, 6 in Caldwell County, 6 in Livingston County, and 4 in Lyon County.

The Marshall County Health Department announced 69 new cases since Friday. One of the new cases is isolating in a hospital. The new cases raise the county's total to 1,946.

The Calloway County Health Department reported 60 new cases since Friday, and one new death. There have been 2,701 cases of the virus in Calloway County.
