Health Departments Provide COVID Updates

WESTERN KENTUCKY, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - Area health departments reported more cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

The Graves County Health Department said they were aware of 50 new cases, raising the county's total to 1,528.

The Pennyrile District Health Department reports 30 new cases in their district. The cases include 9 in Crittenden, 7 in Caldwell, 6 in both Livingston and Lyon Counties, and 2 in Trigg County.

The Marshall County Health Department reports 28 new cases, raising the county's total to 878. All of the new cases are isolating at home.

The Southern Seven Health Department reports 109 new cases of the virus in their district. The new cases include 29 in Union County, 20 in Johnson County, 1 in Pope County, 4 in Hardin County, 8 in Alexander County, 11 in Pulaski County, and 36 in Massac County.

The Purchase District Health Department announced 88 new cases in their district. The new cases include 6 in Hickman County, 5 in Ballard County, 4 in Carlisle County, 1 in Fulton County, and 72 new cases in McCracken County.
