Health Departments Report New COVID Cases

WESTERN KENTUCKY - Area health departments confirmed new cases of the novel coronavirus on Tuesday.

The Marshall County Health Department said it had 12 new cases to report Tuesday, bringing their total number of cases to 388. All of the new cases are isolating at home.

The Graves County Health Department announced six new cases of COVID-19. The total number of cases in Graves County now stands at 811 cases. Two of the new cases are hospitalized; the other four individuals are isolating at home.

The Calloway County Health Department said it received notification of 8 new confirmed cases. The total number of confirmed cases for Calloway County is now at 785 with 10 deaths.

The Pennyrile District Health Department announced 24 new cases in their district, including 13 people in Caldwell County, four in Crittenden County, four in Livingston County, and three in Trigg County. All of the individuals are isolating at home.

The Purchase District Health Department confirmed 19 new cases. The new cases include five people in Ballard County, two in Carlisle County, and 12 in McCracken County. The Purchase District Health Department is reporting a total of 1,300 cases since the start of the pandemic.
