Health Departments Wednesday COVID Updates

WESTERN KENTUCKY, SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - Area health departments announced several new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

The Calloway County Health Department said there were 32 new cases, raising the county's total to 2,755.

The Southern Seven Health Department confirmed 43 new cases, including 13 in Union County, 7 in Johnson County, 2 in Pope County, 2 in Hardin County, 3 in Alexander County, 5 in Pulaski County, and 11 in Massac County.

The Pennyrile District Health Department reported 46 new cases across its district, including 16 in Trigg County, 14 in Caldwell County, 7 in Livingston County, 6 in Lyon County, and 3 in Crittenden County.

The Graves County Health Department announced 50 new cases, raising the county's total to 2,956.

The Marshall County Health Department reports 23 new cases, raising the county's total to 1,987. All of the new cases are isolating at home.

The Purchase District Health Department said they were aware of 48 new cases across its district, including 34 in McCracken County, 7 in Carlisle County, 3 in Ballard County, 3 in Hickman County, and 1 in Fulton County.
