A Graves County husband and wife were arrested Wednesday on multiple charges.

Graves County Sheriff’s deputies received a tip that Gary Thomas was hiding out at 1850 State Route 1213 North, at the home of his wife. Thomas had active warrants for his arrest for fleeing and evading police and probation violation.

Upon arriving at the home, Belinda Thomas told deputies that her husband was not in the home. After a lengthy search, Gary Thomas was found hiding underneath insulation in the attic.

During the course of his arrest, a taser was deployed on Thomas and he was brought down from the attic. Belinda Thomas began to get very agitated, screaming obscenities at deputies. She was placed under arrest along with her husband and both were lodged in the Graves County Jail.

Gary Thomas was charged with fleeing and evading police, probation violation and resisting arrest. Belinda Thomas was charged with hindering apprehension and disorderly conduct.
