Graves Accident Sends Murray Woman to Vanderbilt

GRAVES COUNTY, KY - Two people were injured in an accident in Graves County Sunday afternoon.
According to the Kentucky State Police, 18-year-old Ryan Vowell of Paducah was driving north on KY 97 when a car driven by 29-year-old William Boggess of Farmington attempted to make a left turn onto KY 80. Vowell's truck struck the passenger side of Boggess's car when Boggess failed to yield at the intersection.
Boggess was transported to Lourdes for treatment of injuries, while his passenger, 19-year-old Kelsey Gibson of Murray, needed to be airlifed to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Vowell was treated for minor injuries and released.
