Jake Hodge Golf Scramble Set for Saturday

SALEM, KY - A four-person scramble golf tournament to benefit the Jake Hodge Memorial Foundation will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, at Deer Lakes Golf Course in Salem, KY.

There will be a shotgun start at 9 am. Flights will be determined after completion of play. Closest to the pin on all par 3s and longest drive and straightest drive prizes will be awarded. There will also be a $10,000 prize for a hole-in-one.

The Jake Hodge Memorial Foundation grants educational scholarships each year to students who excel in the classroom and in their chosen field of competition. Over $16,000 in scholarships has been handed out to high school seniors the last four years.

The scholarship and memorial fund is devoted to the legacy of Jake Hodge, who was 12 years old when he died in 2008. Memorial contributions for the Jake Hodge Scholarship Fund may be made to Farmers Bank and Trust Co., 201 South Main Street, Marion, KY 42064.
