The trial, which began on Monday, ended on Thursday with the jury handing down the guilty verdict and recommending a 20 year sentence.
Sixty-year-old William “Terry” Jamison was arrested after an Oct. 1, 2016 incident during which police say he shot and killed Williams in a field off KY 94 in Hickman.
Jamison, of Tiptonville, Tennessee, will be formally sentenced by Judge Timothy Langford on September 8.
