Jefferson County Man Charged for Cybersex Case

MADISONVILLE, KY - A Jefferson County man was arrested on charges related to unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities after Kentucky State Police conducted and online investigation.
Rupeshkumar K. Poojary, 38, is charged with Unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activities. He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
Poojary was arrested as the result of an ongoing undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation that began in June 2012. Kentucky State Police Post 2 Detective Dan Morck conducted the investigation. He was assisted by Lieutenant Anthony Taulbee, Detective Lonnie Kavanaugh, Trooper Bob Winters, Trooper Jonathan Carlock, Trooper Ben Sawyer, and Trooper Curtis Crick. The investigation is ongoing by Detective Dan Morck.
