Joint Investigation Yields Meth Lab Arrest

MAYFIELD, KY - A joint investigation by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force has resulted in the arrest of a Mayfield man on drug charges.

According to Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon, 43-year-old David Stephens is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, two counts of wanton endangerment and possession of a controlled substance, meth.

Redmon said officers went to Stephens’ home on Cardinal Road just outside of Mayfield Monday to execute an arrest warrant on Stephens. While there, they discovered an active meth lab in the home.

Stephens was arrested and lodged in the Graves County Jail
