KSP Investigates Burglaries, Finds Stolen Car

EDDYVILLE - While Kentucky State Police investigated burglaries in Eddyville, in the process they recovered a stolen car.

The Kentucky State Police Post 1 received a call Saturday about storage units being broken into at Kings Mini Storage in Eddyville. 

Troopers found several storage units had been broken into. During the investigation, a car was also located at the scene that had been reported stolen out of Marshall County approximately three months ago. The original color of the car was white, but had been sprayed painted silver, and the hood had been painted black and silver. 

Anyone with information about the car and who has been driving it is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721, or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555. Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
