KY Boy Getting 'Thumbs Up' From Many Supporters

ROBARDS, KY - Lots of folks are giving thumbs up to a 13-year-old Kentucky boy whose battling a rare form of cancer.
Lane Goodwin has gotten thumbs up from the UK football team, Fox News, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood and many, many more. He is also hoping to get 100,000 likes on his Facebook page. He's getting very close.
Since being diagnosed with cancer more than two years ago, Lane Goodwin is always smiling and giving a 'thumbs-up' sign" in pictures. That's why someone started the 'Thumbs-up For Lane' campaign (on Facebook) and now pictures of people giving him the supportive gesture have come in from all over the US and as far away as Japan.
Wayne said she visited with her nephew on Thursday.
"(Lane) was smiling and did a thumbs-up for me and hugged me," she said.
"He has strength that you can't imagine ... He has a lot of faith and says he's ready to go with God."
