J. Patrick Kerr and Susan Hannan Kreutzer Wilson appeared in US District Court in Owensboro Friday to plead guilty to charges stemming from the theft of funds from the Paducah Expo Center and the Julian Carroll Convention Center.

Kerr and Wilson entered the pleas to charges of theft of or misappropriation of property owned by and under the custody of a federal program. The maximum prison sentence is 10 years for each count.

Both Kerr and Wilson will be sentenced June 8 in Paducah.

The charges come from a scheme to share money from checks written by Kerr to Wilson for work that she did not perform on behalf of the facilities.
