Kirksey Man Flips Vehicle, Charged with DUI

MAYFIELD, KY - A single vehicle rollover accident Wednesday night in Graves County left a Calloway County man hospitalized and charged with driving under the influence. According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck happened at approximately 9:20 pm at the intersection of KY 131 and KY 1684. 

Deputies said Larry E. Williams, of Kirksey, was eastbound on KY 1684. He failed to stop at the intersection with KY 131, crossed over KY 131, left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle continued spinning and rolling onto its right side.

Williams was not wearing a seat belt and was still in the vehicle when deputies and First Responders arrived. Williams was transported to Lourdes Hospital by Mayfield-Graves County EMS. Williams was charged with DUI 1st offense.
