LBL Releases Tentative Schedule for 2013

GOLDEN POND, KY - The USDA Forest Service’s Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area in western Kentucky and Tennessee has so much to offer your readers, listeners, or viewers. Last year our unique recreational, cultural, and environmental education activities brought 1.2 million visitors to Land Between The Lakes and the surrounding region. In addition to almost limitless outdoor recreation opportunities, our interpretive facilities offer daily programs for all ages and interest groups.
While our 2013 special events calendar is not finalized, we have included some highlights for the year. We hope you will find them useful as you plan your features and event listings for the coming months. Visit our website at
