Lake Barkley Bridge Lane Closure Wednesday

Daytime lane restrictions will take place on the US 68/KY 80 Lake Barkley Bridge at Canton in Trigg County on Wednesday.

This restriction is to allow deck repairs on the existing bridge. Officials say drivers should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers from around 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Delays are expected to be shorter than 4 minutes.

The contractor will be pouring concrete to repair the deck and driving surface prior to the start of the busy July 4th Independence Day travel period. Steel plates will be placed over the repaired areas while the concrete is allowed to cure.
