Lane Restriction Along I-69 in Lyon County

A lane restriction has been added to a work zone where a shoulder restriction was in place along a section of Interstate 69 near the Lyon-Caldwell county line.

Drivers should be alert for the work zone between the 69 and 71 mile markers on weekdays through about August 22.

This work zone will allow milling and repaving of the right-hand lane and the shoulder area, along with guardrail work in an area where several crashes have been attributed to hydroplaning. All traffic will move to the left lane in this area, and all drivers should use caution in the work zone.
