MARSHALL COUNTY, KY - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict westbound traffic to one lane on the I-24 overpass at exit 27 in Marshall County on Friday.

This is the I-24 overpass that crosses US 62 at the Calvert City exit.

The restriction is to allow deck patching work on the overpass and is expected to be in place from about 8 a.m. to 3 p.m..

Westbound motorists on I-24 should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the 27 mile marker. The work zone will have a 55 mph speed limit.

Caution is required where equipment, flaggers and maintenance personnel are on the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
