A city crew will be working through the afternoon to raise manhole covers to prepare for night paving along the northbound lanes. Once the covers are raised the northbound lanes of US 641 will remain restricted to one lane until paving is completed during the overnight hours.
All northbound traffic along this section of US 641 will move to the left-hand or passing lane in the project area. Drivers should use appropriate caution.
Night-time milling and paving in the 2-mile-long area from Glendale Road to just north of KY Highway 121 began Thursday. Crews are working from 8 pm until 5 am on the paving project.
