Ledbetter Bridge Will Remain OPEN Sunday
By Kentucky Transportation Cabinet
LEDBETTER, KY - The planned 5 hour closure of the US 60 Tennessee River Bridge at Ledbetter scheduled for Sunday morning has been CANCELLED.

The contractor was able to complete a portion of the required work without use of a portable scaffolding. The contractor is now confident the remaining work can be completed without using the scaffolding that would have required the bridge be closed to traffic for 5 hours.

Again, the closure planned for Sunday morning is CANCELLED. The US 60 Tennessee River Bridge will remain open to one lane traffic on Sunday morning.

The lane restriction with alternating flow controlled by an automated signal will continue in place for about two weeks.

Motorists should continue to use appropriate caution in this work zone.

We appreciate the cooperation and patience of the public during this important repair work.
