A seven-year-old girl was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville after she was injured in an early-morning auto accident Monday on highway 60 in Ledbetter.

Kentucky State Police say Calista Jennings was ejected from the vehicle driven by 26-year-old Crystal Jennings around 6:30 Monday morning, and the rear tires came to rest on her body.

Officers say Crystal Jennings was westbound on US 60 when she left the road for unknown reasons, overcorrected, traveled back across the road, struck a ditch, and overturned.

Crystal Jennings, and three-year-old Nevaeh Jennings, were treated and released from Lourdes hospital.
