Livingston Man Arrested for Sex Assault on 2 Girls

TILINE, KY - A Tiline man has been charged with sodomy and sexual abuse of two teen girls.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Department conducted an investigation, and arrested 46-year-old Jonathan D. Starczewski at his home. He is charged one count of sodomy third degree (felony) and two counts of sexual abuse 1st degree (felony), after he allegedly had sexual contact with two girls, one under 15-years-old, and another under 14-years-old.

He was interviewed by investigators and lodged in the McCracken County Jail.

  I do not know who you are Denise but you need to practice what you preach! You have no idea what is going on at the moment here in Kentucky! How could you? You have not involved yourself in his daughters life or his. But let me tell you something. This man is sick and needs to be in jail. Another thing since im on here, My mother is not a "hoe" by the way neither is that remotly appropriate for you to say on a website.Neither is she a goldigger. My mother supported him for i dont know how many years when he didnt have a job. You are also no person to judge, you are not god. I forgive him for what he has done to my family but only because I have faith in god and know he will judge him right in the end. I have no idea why I feel that i should be explaining myself to you? All I know is that i wanted to set you straight! So before you try to ruin someones life this your opinions get the facts straight!

  All Of You Strangers Dont Know The Real Truth About This Case.. Jon Was Set Up By His Girlfriend Which The 2 Girls Belong Too, She Is a Cheating, Lieing Hoe! The Reason Shes Doing This Is Because She Was Mad That Jon Was Leaving Her and Taking His daughter That They Have Together, Thats 5 With Him! Y'all Can Judge All Day But I have Known Jon Over 26 Years and Never In a Million Years Would He Have Done This Or Even Dreammed Of Doing This! Trust Me... He's The Father Of My Nephew and You Need 2 Know Him Personally To Understand He Is Not The Person They Are Making Him Out 2 B.   The 8th Amendment does bar "cruel and unusual punishment" from happening. Who determines what is cruel and unusual? I'm sure it is the judicial system, which is the same system that gives "easy and casual" sentences to criminals. If I were a judge then I wouldn't think it cruel or unusual for someone to be castrated for raping someone else. Just as the death sentence is not cruel and unusual for someone who is a murderer. What is cruel is stretching the sentence out for decades while appeal after appeal are dismissed and millions of our taxes are spent on housing criminals, giving them free medical care, college classes, TV, workout equipment, 3 squares a day, etc. The U.S. has become too politically correct. Let the punishment fit the crime in a timely manner.

  trouble x. We just can't do it(like my post about chaining) or we'd have complete social break down. BUT believe me if he ends up over at Eddyville pin in general population he'll have no rights but to suffer and die might take a year to two but he'll be in hell from the get go and best for him.

  I say when you commit a crime, especially such as this, the constitution no longer applies to you, you lose ALL rights. These criminals don't care about their victims rights, why should we care about the criminals???

  Crimes are often "Cruel and unusual." The Constitution is clear about "Cruel and unusual punishment" so the punishment cannot fit the crime.

  I have to agree with B.L. Make the punishment fit the crime. That's what they should do with ALL crimes. Then we wouldn't need so many prisons. Steal? Lose a hand. Rape? Lose a (you know). Kill? Lose your life.

  This article makes no mention that the charges against him include forcible rape. These acts could easily be consensual, still illegal (and rightly so) but quite possibly not traumitizing to the victims. This looks to be the type of person that should be on a sex offender registry after he serves his sentence.

  Yeah TB - The girls probably were walking around in booty shorts and tube tops asking to get raped. Sadly some people will use this faulty logic and try to justify this man's crimes. They will be saying how good a man he is, with a great job, loves his kids, never causes any trouble and that no one would ever suspect him of doing something this terrible. Of course, then we have the other folks that will talk about mental illnesses and how that could have played a role, or that he was abused as a child so he just acts out what he went through or some other crazy scheme to place blame somewhere other than on the one that committed these crimes. I guess people are too ignorant to see that excuse making only is (and has) added to the problem and why our prisons are over-run. Stop making excuses and start punishing people for their crimes. These poor girls will now have to live their whole lives with these acts against them looming over them.

  Castration would be a good deterrent in issues like this. Make the punishment fit the crime and I bet that you would see a drastic drop in crime and abuse like this.
