Local Health Dept. to Pilot Expanded COVID Testing

WESTERN KENTUCKY - The Purchase District Health Department has been named as one of four sites across the Commonwealth to pilot expanded COVID testing.

The program will last for twelve weeks with the possibility of a longer term depending on state determination. Under the program the health department will be performing pop-up testing across their district and at special events. If you are hosting an event and would like to have pop up testing available, contact kkoster@purchasehealth.org. They will be testing 100 people per day free of charge.

The Purchase District Health Department's testing team will include two positions for Registration/Clinical Support (EMT, CMA), one position for a Safety/Quality Nurse RN, and one Testing Site Coordinator.
