Local McDonald's Deliver Meals to Law Enforcement
By West Kentucky Star Staff
WESTERN KENTUCKY - Team members from several locally-owned McDonald's restaurants recently came together to honor 49 law enforcement agencies.

Local McDonald's franchisee Mike Love partnered with several other local McDonald's owners to provide the meals to the Paducah Police Department, Massac County Sheriff's Department, Metropolis Police Department, the Murray Police Department, and others.

Every October, locally-owned McDonald's restaurants across the country welcome law enforcement and members of the community into their restaurants to celebrate Coffee with a Cop day. With McDonald's lobbies closed due to the pandemic, restaurants instead delivered the coffee, breakfast, and coupons straight to local law enforcement officers.

"Nothing could stop us from showing our appreciation for the sacrifices our officers make for our community," said Love

Love is a second generation McDonald's franchisee who owns ten restaurants throughout western Kentucky and southern Illinois.
