MAYFIELD, KY - The Lone Star Championship Rodeo is bringing its “United Nations Tour” to Mayfield tonight and tomorrow at the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds. The start time is 8 pm both days. 

Elite sponsors and evening sponsors for the rodeo are Mayfield Electric and Water, TVA and Mayfield Veterinary Clinic.

Chute Gate Advertisers for the event include Mayfield Electric and Water, Mayfield Veterinary Clinic, River Valley Ag Credit, and James R. Cash Auctions.

The rodeo will include the following sanctioned contest events: bareback bronc riding (sponsored by Youngblood’s True Value Hardware), Steer Wrestling (sponsored by Whitford Crop Insurance), cowgirls breakaway roping (sponsored by Harris Real Estate & Auction), Team Roping (sponsored by Mayfield Grain Company), Cowgirls Barrel Racing (sponsored by Clarks Feed & Supply), Brahma Bull Riding (sponsored by Odom’s Livestock), Best-Dressed Cowboy & Cowgirl (sponsored by Youngblood’s RV). 

The Best Dressed Cowboy and Cowgirl Contest is for kids 10 and under, the Gold Rush is also for kids 10 and under. The rodeo will feature special appearances by Mike Wentworth Rodeo Clown and Barrelman.

Ticket prices are as follows: adults $15; children 4-12 $10. Ages 3 and under are free.
