According to Lyon County Judge Executive Wade White, the health department has confirmed a new case of the virus within the county.
White says a 55-year-old man has contracted the virus and is currently in the hospital, although they believe he is getting better.
The health department is currently performing a contact investigation and alerting anyone the man may have been in contact with.
