Murray State University will welcome students and their families to campus September 28–30 for Family Weekend 2018, an annual tradition that allows students to share their college experience with their loved ones.

Throughout the weekend, the University will host a variety of fun events and activities for students and their families, including the Mr. MSU Pageant, Racer 5K, Fall Fanfare Concert and more. The Family Lunch, which takes place Saturday, Sept. 29, at noon on the quad, is a particular highlight during the weekend as well as the home football game against University of Tennessee–Martin that evening at 6 p.m. in Roy Stewart Stadium. Special events hosted by various units and departments on campus will also take place throughout the weekend.

“I enjoyed having so much time to spend with my child without taking away from personal activities and study time,” said one family member last year, while another added: “The overall atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming.”

The registration fee for Family Weekend 2018 is $25 per family. Six general admission football tickets are included in the fee as well as access to the complimentary Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast. Additional events may incur a fee with costs and payment options listed in the schedule and online registration system.
