Man Accused of Ramming SUV into Bank Still in Jail
By West Kentucky Star Staff
MURRAY - A Murray man was in court on Thursday, facing charges after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into the lobby of a bank last summer.

According to the Calloway Circuit Court Clerk, Dennis McCuiston appeared before Judge James Jameson, and his attorney asked for a reduction in his bond, citing good behavior in jail and an unmedicated mental issue at the time of the incident.

After hearing arguments from the prosecutor, Judge Jameson denied the motion for bond reduction and set a status hearing on June 6.

On July 26, 2018, Murray Police arrested McCuiston after his SUV crashed through the front glass of Regions Bank on South 12th Street. One person inside the bank was injured, and police determined that McCuiston intentionally drove into the building. He was charged with 1st degree assault and 1st degree criminal mischief.
