Man Arrested After Threats to Kill Dispatcher

MAYFIELD - A Mayfield man was arrested Sunday on
harassment charges.
The Mayfield Police
Department received word from Kentucky State Police dispatch that
58-year-old Walter Shelton was making numerous 911 calls. Each time,
Shelton was allegedly making threats to kill dispatchers and others.
Shelton was contacted by the Mayfield
Police Department and advised to stop calling. Shelton said that he
would stop, but moments later he made an additional call and again
threatened to kill the dispatcher.
Officers went to Shelton's home, and
placed him under arrest for harassing communications. He was lodged
in the Graves County Jail.
